The Xbox 360 is presently available in 3 standard variants.

Xbox 360 Arcade,
Xbox 360 Premium,
Xbox 360 Elite.

Xbox 360 Arcade replaced Xbox 360 Core in the month of October year 2007.

In the initial launch phase Xbox 360 comes in two confrigurations Xbox 360 Premium package which was priced at $399 US, and the other one was Xbox 360 Core which was priced at $299 US.

Premium version original shipment included a cut down version of the Media Remote, which was removed from afterwards from the shipments. The Elite package was launched later at US$479, and the “Xbox 360 Arcade” replaced the “Xbox 360 Core” in October 2007 at US$279.

Xbox Core is now out of shops and no longer being sold, Because it has been replaced by Xbox 360 Arcade.

Initially it was available only in Japan then subsequently it was realeased slowly and gradually to united states of america and then it was launch in UK.

The Xbox Core system bundled comes with composite video cables, which are having capabilities of SDTV resolutions,

Xbox 360, generally called the Pro or Premium xbox 360, priced at $349 US, includes all the fantastic features of the Xbox 360 Core.

Xbox 360 Elite is the 4th and most expensive variation of the game console. which is priced at $449 US with a 120GB hard drive and a matte black finish.

Early xbox 360 Elite models shipped using the Zephyr motherboard, whereas newer models use the Falcon 65nm chipset instead.
