Epic’s Motion to Dismiss Unreal Engine 3 Lawsuit against silicon knight’s was denied by the court

Unreal Engine 3 lawsuit between Epic and Silicon Knights will be settled in the court, both will meet in court.

Unreal Engine 3 of Silicon Knight’s lawsuit was denied by Epic Games motion, it was confirmed by both the rival’s to Daily Game news. Briefing of case is that Epic games motion did not gave a proper game engine  for the game Too Human and were not able to provide satisfactory technical support.

Epic is claiming Silicon Knight’s was not honouring the agreement between them and silicon knights was in breach of contract and it was also said knights also want to acquire Epic’s technology which is licensed, to get something you have to pay, but it was opposite in this case. The court favoured Silicon Knights’ it was shared by vice president Mark Rein of epic to news channel.

Epic had appealled in front of the Judge and asked for dismissal of entire case. according to vp of epic, This request was denied by the Judge, which is very common in this case. Epic games also said that the evidence will prove us that Silicon Knights breached its license with us and tries to copy our rights and secrets of trade, and we are confident that we will get justice.

After talking to silicon knight one of their key members said all baised claims from epic games will be thrown out.

Silicon Knights is in a publishing deal with Sega which is still pursuing, Senior official said, there was no encouragement or expectation from Silicon Knights to get agreement signed for a 2nd game without paying license fee to epic games. The Gaming industry is relatively small as compared to other hi tech industries. Silicon Knights dismissal of the Unreal Engine 3 develops an independent game engine which threatens licensing business of epic games.
